Zhongshan Chenjiagou Taijiquan(Taichi) School was established in 2005 and is the earliest martial arts institution in Zhongshan City registered with the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to professionally promote authentic Chen-style Taijiquan.
The school operates two branches: the Shiqi Headquarters and the Xiaolan Branch. The Shiqi Headquarters is located in the New Times Plaza on Zhongshan Second Road in the urban area of Zhongshan, while the Xiaolan Branch is situated on the third floor of No. 38 Guangyuan North Road, next to the Xiaolan Sports Center. Both places are spacious and offer a tranquil environment amidst the bustling city.

We have a strong teaching team. The head coach, Zhang Qiji, comes from Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, the birthplace of Taijiquan. He began practicing martial arts as a child and started promoting Chen-style Taijiquan in Guangzhou at the age of 17 in 1989. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he tailors his instruction to each student’s needs and guides them patiently. Other coaches at the school are long-time students of Coach Zhang, having mastered his teachings and won awards at provincial, national, and international levels.

Since its founding, the school has adhered to the principles of “revering heaven and loving others, respecting teachers and valuing the way, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and offering education to all without discrimination.” We teach with a smile, patiently answering countless questions, and tailor our instruction to each student’s learning capacity. We avoid being overly conservative or mystifying, ensuring every student achieves the greatest results in the shortest time possible.

Over the past 20 years, the school’s reputation has grown steadily, attracting numerous students and making significant contributions to Zhongshan’s health and wellness community. Many students have not only achieved remarkable improvements in their physical and mental well-being but have also made new strides in their careers.
